Enumclaw Storm Caused Roof Leak

Ceiling Damage and Roof Leak from Large Storm

This Enumclaw, WA commercial building was damaged in a storm because of a roof leak. The water found its way in through the roof and onto the ceiling. The insulation soaked up the water and eventually was heavy enough to break through the wet ceiling drywall. The process to restore the damage starts out with mitigation.

1. Find leak in the roof and place tarps until it is fixed.
2. Remove damage drywall and insulation.
3. Spray the damage area with disinfectant and clean carpets underneath.
4. Use drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers to dry out the rest of ceiling and roof.

Once the storm has passed the exterior and interior should be ready for restoration.
